At East Pond during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at East Pond temperatures drop to the 20's. Camp Experts & Teen Summrs is a great campground nearby, and Canarsie Beach is pretty close by if you're in a beach type       of mood. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. If you're here, you might as well pop by Long Bar, and if you need a place to stay Sheraton JFK Airport Hotel is a glorious choice. Much precipitation falls at East Pond; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Ramada Plaza Hotel Jfk International Airport is a great location to get some rest, and an                  afternoon playing golf at Park Golf Course is always a diversion. A pleasant journey to The Raunt is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon, and lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Baisley Pond. Bergen Basin is not far from East Pond at all, and lots of folks from New York-Newark-Edison come here. Visiting Gateway National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. West Pond is a good lake in the vicinity of East Pond, and Big Egg Marsh is a swamp in the vicinity of East Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
