If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to East Pond. You could also explore North Pond while you're here at East Pond; it's nearby, and on a gorgeous day you get a great sight of Buck Mountain from East Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Third Creek is a striking stream that is worth stopping at. You'll need more than a day to look at everything East       Pond has to offer, you can camp at Stysh's Brown Barn Campgrounds. A day on the slopes of McCauley Mountain is just what you need, and dry warm beds await you at Brantingham Inn Motel. Paddling on Beaver River is so much fun, and you can stay the night at Moose River Camp Grounds. At East Pond through the summertime highs are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally                  in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for East Pond tend to be in the 0's. Get dripping wet paddling on Moose River, and if you need a place to stay Stillwater Motel is a perfect choice. Head up to Snow Ridge and strap some skis to your feet; golf can be played at Brantingham Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Stone Dam Trail.
