East Pond is a splendid site to camp, Blue Jay Campsites is a splendid site; dry warm beds await you at Mountain Gate Motel. A common amount of rain falls here at East Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Lake Ozonia Outlet; Crossroads Motel of Moira is a great location to get some       rest. Leach Pine Brook is a great local stream, and folks from Malone love to come here. Ladder Mountain is picturesque and can be seen from East Pond; glide down the rapids of St. Regis River - Middle Branch in a kayak. Just can't get enough of East Pond. Camping at East Pond is nice fun, Santa Clara Riverside RV Park and Campground is a nice local campground. During the summer months at East Pond highs are generally in the 80's, and during the night                  it cools down to the 50's.
