Go to East Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. East Pond is a splendid site to camp, Blue Jay Campsites is a splendid site; dry warm beds await you at Mountain Gate Motel. A common amount of rain falls here at East Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Ladder Mountain is picturesque and can be seen from East Pond; glide down the rapids of St. Regis River - Middle Branch in a kayak. Just can't get enough of East Pond.
