    If you are in Fulton county it's always a good idea to stop by East Caroga Lake. East Caroga Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Campsite is a nice campground nearby, and there's some flowing water close by, Frie Flow is a stream you can stop at while here. And if that's not enough there's plenty more cool things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. East Caroga Lake is not far at all from Amsterdam, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Holmes  
   Lake Outlet.
East Caroga Lake is a wet site that gets lots of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November; February is when it's the driest. If you're here at East Caroga Lake and you like golf, you can visit Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course, and get covered with water paddling on Caroga Creek. During the warm days of summer at East Caroga Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's.
 
               The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to East Caroga Lake.
Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Caroga Lake is in the vicinity of East Caroga Lake, and East Caroga Lake is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Pine Lake Campground and RV Park is a delightful site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. You're perhaps hooked on lakes, West Caroga Lake is one of those close by; if you need a spot to stay Johnstown/Gloversville Super 8 Motel is a great choice.
If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love East Caroga Lake. While you're here at East Caroga Lake you can take a hike along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville, Ny is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two.

Never been there...going there soon though....l\Love it there, going today. :)...Great spot for swimming in the summer. Clear waters, with many rocks and small cliffs to jump off, along with a rope swing! Its a heavily used area, made apparent by the large amount of garbage left around during the busy months, but  all in all a good lake and definatley worth the short hike....

Buckhorn Lake is a private Association Lake located 2 miles north of Unadilla, New York (in Otsego County). Very friendly towns folk and this lake holds the New York State Record for a Large Mouth Bass caught in 1994. The lake is fed by many underground springs but is not ery deep. Morehouse Lake is completely on private property under the ownership of the Morehouse Lake Club which was founded in 1889 and also has within it's borderline Barto Lake and Mud Pond. The outlet stream is called Little Goldmine and runs southeasterly into the East Canada Creek near Powley Place....
