At Eagle Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 30's while Eagle Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Eagle Lake commonly gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls through November; the driest month is February. This lake       is so wonderful. Swamps can be such out of the ordinary locations, take a look at Long Swamp since you're here at Eagle Lake, and a picturesque lake like Sheppard Pond is a pleasant site to go to. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Eagle Lake. Do visit Sterling Forest Lake in the neighborhood of Eagle Lake, it's a striking lake; Ramapo River is a good whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Cannonball                  Trail is perfect fun, and Eagle Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a great local campground. Mt. Peter is a pleasant local ski area, and why not pop by Ringwood Mill Dam since you're here. Dry warm beds await you at Sheraton Mahwah Hotel; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Sterling Forest is rather near. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Eagle Lake. Have a good hiking adventure along the Kakiat Trail, and here at Eagle Lake you can catch a sight of Mount Defiance. Getting to Summit Brook from Eagle Lake is simple; if you need a location to stay Courtyard Mahwah is a great choice.
