A visit to Dyken Pond is always a good idea. You can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Jiminy Peak, and there's pleasant hiking along the Taconic Crest Trail. Dyken Pond is a good place of normal precipitation; most of the rain falls all through July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Having a pleasant time at Dyken Pond is trouble-free. If you came for an overnight stay Aqua Vista Valley Campgrounds is a great place

| | to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Jericho Valley Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Southeast Hollow Trail; why not camp at Broken Wheel Campground if you're here at Dyken Pond. All through the summertime at Dyken Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, generally in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Dyken Pond. | |

If you need a site to stay Jiminy Peak is a magnificent choice, and paddling on Poesten Kill River is so much fun. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Mount Greylock Ski Club, and the Williams Trail offers hiking at its best.
