If you are in this part of New York make sure to pay a visit to Dunk Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cedar River, and some close by water includes Beaver Brook. Dunk Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Skiing at Gore Mountain
is one of those things you just have to do; there's wonderful hiking along the Indian Pass Trail.
Dunk Pond is not the only place nearby, Beaver Ponds is a nearby lake, and Prospect Rock is something you shouldn't miss while you're here.
