    Dunbar Pond is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. The Bomoseen Hiking Loop is a glorious hiking trail near Dunbar Pond, and Dunbar Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Bomoseen State Park Campground is a glorious local campground. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Dunbar Pond; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is February. Camping at Lake Bomoseen Camp Ground is always a perfect  
   experience, and if you're here, you could also explore beautiful Browns Pond.
Dry warm beds await you at Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Glen Lake Trail. Near Dunbar Pond you come across a golf course called Valley View Golf Course, and float down the rapids of Mettawee River in a kayak. There is a nice hiking trail near Dunbar Pond called the Half Moon Pond Trail, and at Dunbar Pond you can spot
 
               Bartholomew Hill.
This lake is so wonderful. People from Glens Falls love to come to Dunbar Pond. Any time is a tremendous time at Dunbar Pond if you fancy the outdoors. If you need a location to stay The Sagamore is a magnificent choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Poultney River offers some great whitewater. At Dunbar Pond through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Dunbar Pond.
