The Bomoseen Hiking Loop is a glorious hiking trail near Dunbar Pond, and Dunbar Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Bomoseen State Park Campground is a glorious local campground. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Dunbar Pond; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is February. Camping at Lake Bomoseen Camp Ground is always a perfect       experience, and if you're here, you could also explore beautiful Browns Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Glen Lake Trail. Near Dunbar Pond you come across a golf course called Valley View Golf Course, and float down the rapids of Mettawee River in a kayak. There is a nice hiking trail near Dunbar Pond called the Half Moon Pond Trail, and at Dunbar Pond you can spot                  Bartholomew Hill. This lake is so wonderful. People from Glens Falls love to come to Dunbar Pond. Any time is a tremendous time at Dunbar Pond if you fancy the outdoors.
