The beauty of Dudley Pond attracts many people from all around. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. The summit of Bald Pate can be made out from Dudley Pond; the Rock Pond Trail offers hiking at its best. A great place to camp here at Dudley Pond is Echo Lake Southwoods, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Cedar Bridge Pond. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Breakneck Brook is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. Dudley Pond is a good spot of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. Just can't get enough of Dudley Pond. do here in the Adirondack Mountains. You can run the rapids of Mill Creek in the neighborhood of Dudley Pond. Lakes are perfect; Sawmill Pond is a lake that's near Dudley Pond. All through the summertime months at Dudley Pond temperatures
are mostly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Dudley Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater
on Putnam Creek for all you adrenaline kick people; wonderful hiking is available along the Bear Pond Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dudley Pond; Clear Pond Trail is a great local trail.

 | What a terrific place to spend the night or even a few days. I went there on my first hike ever, and I am going back this week. It is about a 3-4 hour hike into the trail, but man is it worth it. If you are lucky enough to be the only group there, you will find a lean-2 and fire pit all to yourself. Also, there is a very secluded pond(oxshoe pond) in the same valley, that is just spectacular. A row boat is on hand to use for free for anyone at the site. No cell service with Verizon there, but then again, who needs that? lol again though, an absolutely amazing place to spend a few nights.... |
