If you are in Ulster county it's always a good idea to stop by Duck Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Lazy River Campground is a brilliant site to camp, and Super 8 Motel - New Paltz, Ny is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Stone Dock Golf Course is a wonderful way to kill some time, and nearby you locate the Kanape Jeep Trail which is a nice hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Peters Kill River, and camping is available at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park At Lazy River. Duck Pond mostly gets lots of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Wallkill River, and there are plenty of people from Kingston here | |

House is a pleasant choice. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Duck Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's while
the cold winter nights at Duck Pond are in the 0's. Mohonk Lake is a brilliant lake near Duck Pond, and going for a hike on the Vernooy Falls Trail is always a delightful adventure.
