This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Duck Pond is a good location of common precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February. What a place this is for outdoors people. Stillwater Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest; a day on the slopes of McCauley Mountain is just what you need.       And that's not all there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Take a hike on the Salmon Lake Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Snow Ridge is relatively near. So much cool stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just phenomenal. Float down the rapids of Beaver River in a kayak, and a perfect place to camp here at Duck Pond is Singing waters Campground. After a long day outdoors Country Club Motel is a glorious place to spend a night or two,                  and get yourself into a kayak and hit Oswegatchie River - Middle Branch. While you're here at Duck Pond, you could also stop at striking Cropsey Pond; you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Norridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Post Henderson Trail is magnificent fun, and why not camp at Natural Bridge K O A Camp Ground while you're here at Duck Pond. For the duration of the summertime months at Duck Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's; the night is rather cooler of course, regularly in the 50's.
