McCauley Mountain is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and there are good spots to discover along the Salmon Lake Trail. So many cool things close to Duck Pond, completely unbelievable. There are other sites here than Duck Pond, for example Moshier Ponds, and paddling       on Oswegatchie River - Middle Branch is so much fun. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Duck Pond. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Duck Pond tend to be in the 0's. The amount of precipitation that falls at Duck Pond is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is mostly the driest month.                  Duck Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.
