    Duck Pond is a lake worth visiting. Summer at Duck Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Duck Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Duck Pond has to offer, you can camp at Deer River Campsites, and pleasant hiking is available along the Silver Lake Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby  
   hotel is Chateaugay Hotel, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Salmon River.
The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many entertaining things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too wonderful to be true. A beautiful lake like Charlie Pond next to Duck Pond is a perfect place to explore, and at Duck Pond you always meet someone from Malone.
After a long day outdoors Sunset Motel is a great location to spend a night or two; there's
 
               no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Titus Mountain. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Some of the water close by flows, like Clear Brook, and you can go for a hike on the McKenzie Pond Trail. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. There's so much to do here at Duck Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Percy Campground is a glorious location for that, and on a beautiful day you acquire a wonderful sight of Black Cat Mountain from Duck Pond.
Duck Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Mount Pisgah has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and there's good hiking along the Schwartz Trail.
