Duck Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Ideal Campsites is a wonderful campground here, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Boreas River - Upper. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. From Duck Pond you get a fine vista of Green Mountain; get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Boreas River.

the Dividing Ridge Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and Gore Mountain Accomodations is a fine location to get some rest. At Duck Pond during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours
it's frequently in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Duck Pond.
