New York has many beautiful lakes and Dow Pond is one of them. The high level of rainfall makes Dow Pond a quite wet location; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are other sites here than Dow Pond, for example Barnes Pond, and going for a hike along the Silver Lake Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
