Beautiful Douglas Pond has much to offer visitors. Yeah, come here to Douglas Pond for a wonderful time. Douglas Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Broken Wheel Campground is a great local campground. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Green River, and don't forget to take a wonderful little visit to Kronk Brook. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Douglas Pond get into the 80's. | | into the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Douglas Pond tend to be in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Mount Greylock Ski Club is a good local ski area, and most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Griswold Pond is just a very short distance away. the Taconic Skyline Trail. Don't leave Douglas Pond without first going for a hike along the Southeast Hollow Trail; Eagle Rock is something you shouldn't miss since you're here.
This lake is so wonderful. Valley View Motel is
a splendid spot to get some rest, and Douglas Pond is in close proximity to Allen Hollow which is definitely worth going to. If you came to camp Privacy Campground is a pleasant site to do that; if the weather is wonderful, you obtain
a perfect sight of Butternut Hill from Douglas Pond. So many cool things to do here at Douglas Pond, too delightful to be true. Douglas Pond is not far at all from Pittsfield, and glorious hiking is available along the Brickhouse
Mountain Trail.
Get wet paddling on Konkapot Brook; after a long day outdoors Jiminy Peak is a great site to spend a night or two. The yearly precipitation here at Douglas Pond is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.
