The beauty of Douglas Pond attracts many people from all around. There's so much to do here at Douglas Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Broken Wheel Campground is a great location for that, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail. whitewater spots on Green River. Jericho Valley Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest; do take a hike on the Southeast Hollow Trail. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Douglas Pond. A magnificent spot in the
neighborhood of Douglas Pond is Allen Hollow, and going for a hike along the Taconic Skyline Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. A typical amount of rain falls here at Douglas Pond; the month with most of the
rain is July, and February is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to Douglas Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Douglas Pond has to offer, you can camp at
Privacy Campground; no need to travel far to have a look at exciting stuff like Eagle Rock. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Jiminy Peak; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Konkapot Brook.
