Beautiful Douglas Pond has much to offer visitors. Yeah, come here to Douglas Pond for a wonderful time. the Taconic Skyline Trail. Don't leave Douglas Pond without first going for a hike along the Southeast Hollow Trail; Eagle Rock is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Valley View Motel is
a splendid spot to get some rest, and Douglas Pond is in close proximity to Allen Hollow which is definitely worth going to. If you came to camp Privacy Campground is a pleasant site to do that; if the weather is wonderful, you obtain
a perfect sight of Butternut Hill from Douglas Pond. So many cool things to do here at Douglas Pond, too delightful to be true. Douglas Pond is not far at all from Pittsfield, and glorious hiking is available along the Brickhouse
Mountain Trail. Get wet paddling on Konkapot Brook; after a long day outdoors Jiminy Peak is a great site to spend a night or two. The yearly precipitation here at Douglas Pond is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.
