At Dority Reservoir through the summer months highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Dority Reservoir temperatures descend to the 0's. Dority Reservoir mostly gets a large amount of rain; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. So       many cool things to do at Dority Reservoir, so little time. Hit the slopes at Willard Mountain around here, and Tee-Bird Country Club is a perfect golf course nearby. Camping at L G Campsite and R V Sales is always a great experience; if you want to hit the beach, Haviland Cove Beach is nearby. A great site to camp here at Dority Reservoir is Moreau Lake State Park, and Hudson River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. People                  from Glens Falls love to come to Dority Reservoir; after a long day outdoors Glens Falls/Queensbury Super 8 Motel is a great spot to spend a night or two.
