Go to Dolans Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Phoenicia Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and playing golf is lots of fun at Windham Country Club. All year is a good time in the Catskill Mountains if you love the outdoors. Take a hike on the Spruceton Trail, and you're sure to stumble upon some cheerful folks from Kingston here. There's so much to do here at Dolans Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Phoenicia Black Bear Campground & RV Park is a tremendous location for that, and you can run the rapids of East Kill River. Red Kill
is a perfect place to take a look at. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dolans Lake has to offer, you can camp at White Birches. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Hunter Mountain, and a good spot
is Becker Hollow.
Dolans Lake is one of the lakes here in the Catskill Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of striking Colonels Chair near Dolans Lake is glorious, and Stony Clove Creek is a delightful whitewater
spot close by. At Dolans Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Dolans Lake.
