It's always fun to stop by Doe Pond. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Doe Pond get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Doe Pond drop into the 0's. | | a fine choice. Doe Pond is a site with many visitors from Utica-Rome; hiking along the Stone Dam Trail is pleasant fun. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Woods Valley, naturally you could also take a look at Forestport Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. on Black River is so much fun. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Doe Pond has to offer, you can camp at Moose River Camp Grounds. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Alder Creek Golf Course & Country
Inn is a good golf course close by, and Little Woodhull Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Snow Ridge and strap some skis to your feet, and Super 8 Motel - Utica is a tremendous
location to get some rest. Doe Pond gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. And that's not all there is to do here in the Adirondack
Mountains. Stay the night at Kayuta Lake Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Twin Lakes Trail.
