This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains.       There's so much to do here at Doe Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cape Woods Campground is a perfect place for that, and a great swamp near Doe Pond is Lyons Marsh. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Doe Pond. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Doe Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day                  to discover everything Doe Pond has to offer, you can camp at Singing waters Campground, and Thendara Golf Club is a pleasant golf course nearby. There is a delightful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Doe Pond called the Salmon Lake Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at McCauley Mountain if you're here. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is plentiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you're visiting Doe Pond from Utica-Rome, you won't be the only one; a perfect nearby hotel is Clark's Beach Motel.
