Hiking along the Peenpack Trail is brilliant fun, and getting to Beaverdam Brook from Dodge Pond is trouble-free. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Lost Cabin Trail, and since you're here you can play some golf at Swan Lake Golf & Country Club. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Dodge Pond is excellent! Paddling on Neversink River is so much fun, and Best Western Monticello       is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Lakes are splendid; Delfongos Pond is a lake that's near Dodge Pond, and the top of Round Top is easily distinguished from Dodge Pond. The yearly rainfall here at Dodge Pond is about average; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Swinging Bridge Lake Campgrounds, and soar down the rapids of Mongaup River in a kayak. Throughout                  the months of summer here at Dodge Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Dodge Pond through the winter mostly descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dodge Pond is right by the Schiff Trail, and why not camp at Happy Days Campground since you're here at Dodge Pond.
