Dixie Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. There is a good hiking trail near Dixie Lake called the Seager West Branch Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Camp Bnos Yakov Mikvah is a tremendous location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Dixie Lake is great fun, Fallsburg Town Of is a great local campground. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Dixie Lake get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls

| | down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Dixie Lake tend to be in the 10's.
There are some glorious whitewater spots on Neversink River, and Holiday Mountain is a good local ski area. Man, is there a heap of exciting things to do in the neighborhood of Dixie Lake. Trout Brook is next to Dixie Lake and is always a diversion to check out. If the weather is fine here at Dixie Lake, you can go for a hike along the Peenpack Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn Of Liberty is a delightful
choice.
This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Sullivan County Golf & Country Club, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge. Looking for something close to Dixie Lake? Grossingers Lake is in the vicinity,
and the Schiff Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. The high level of rain makes Dixie Lake a pretty wet place; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
