New York has many beautiful lakes and Dix Pond is one of them. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Dix Pond. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Dix Pond. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Dix Pond is unbeatable! Gotta ski! Gore Mountain is a good place to do that.

On a pleasant day at Dix Pond you can take a hike along the Leach Trail, and Fairy Ladder Falls is an inspiring place to pop by during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. just keep reading. Everybody close by loves skiing at Whiteface Mountain, and there's some flowing water nearby, Big Sally Brook is a stream you can pop by during your stay.
Stay the night at Shearer's Riverside Campsite; you
can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Jones Beach. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a pleasant choice; while you're here you ought to check out Loon Bay. The East River Trail is
a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Dix Pond, and Elk Pass is a good place to stop at.
The yearly precipitation here at Dix Pond is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with
the least moisture. While you're here at Dix Pond you can take a hike along the Dix Trail, and a nice nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Lake Placid. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains.
You can catch a glimpse of Beck-horn from Dix Pond, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on John's Brook.
