Dix Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Having a perfect time at Dix Pond is simple. John's Brook is a great whitewater spot close to Dix Pond; what would winter be without some skiing at Gore Mountain. Not far from Dix Pond, you'll discover Upper Ausable Lake which is a wonderful lake; Beck-horn is clearly visible from Dix Pond. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Loon Bay is relatively near Dix

and if you're here you can take a hike along the Dix Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are magnificent; Clear Pond is a lake that's close to Dix Pond; there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the East River Trail. This
lake is so wonderful. You should undeniably visit beautiful Jones Beach since you're here at Dix Pond, and Shearer's Riverside Campsite is a tremendous campground nearby. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the
Adirondack Mountains. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on The Branch. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Lake Placid; Big Sally Brook is close to Dix Pond and is always a bliss
to take a look at. Gotta ski! Whiteface Mountain is a good location to do that, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Leach Trail. The warmest time of the year at Dix Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's.
Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Dix Pond.
