This lake is so wonderful. You could also visit Crystal Lake if you're here at Dishrag Pond; it's close by, and there's nice hiking along the Northville Lake Placid Trail. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Dishrag Pond get into the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Dishrag Pond.       Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Dishrag Pond is not the only site nearby, Eagle Lake is a nearby lake, and here at Dishrag Pond you can observe Metcalf Mountain. Hoss's Country Campground is a delightful local campground, and splendid hiking is available along the Sucker Brook Trail. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more entertaining things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. People from Gloversville love to come to Dishrag Pond.                  And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do right next door to Dishrag Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Raquette River; if you came for an overnight stay Tioga Point State Campground is a pleasant place to camp. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Cedar River offers some nice whitewater, and the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail offers hiking at its best.
