This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Have a good hiking adventure along the Leach Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Ausable River - East Branch offers some perfect whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not enough there's a heap more amusing stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Dipper is right by the Weston Trail; dry warm beds await you at Woodruff       Motel. This place is excellent, just explore all the exciting things to do near Dipper. Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a brilliant campground here; do take a hike on the Stimson Trail. Dipper is a glorious place to camp, High Peaks Base Camp is a glorious place, and get yourself into a kayak and hit The Branch. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. You'll locate a beautiful lake                  called Bullet Pond near Dipper; after a long day outdoors Keene Valley Ausable Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Dipper through the summertime are in the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Dipper. The annual rain here at Dipper is about average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
