     The beauty of Diamond Pond attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. The good folks of Malone like to hang out nearby. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Do stop at Lake Duane near Diamond Pond, it's a delightful lake, and a brilliant close by hotel is Econo Lodge Malone. So much fun stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Cove Brook is a pretty stream that is worth going to; there are  
   some fine whitewater spots on Salmon River.
A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Diamond Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month is January. For the period of the summer highs here at Diamond Pond reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Diamond Pond. This place is unbeatable, just check out
 
               all the fun stuff to do in close proximity to Diamond Pond. While you're here at Diamond Pond, you could also take a look at pretty Eagle Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Legton is a wonderful place to camp.
You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Titus Mountain if you're here, and the summit of Humbug Mountain can be spotted from Diamond Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Mount Pisgah, and if you come at the right time of year, Meacham Lake Outlet offers some fine whitewater. Why not camp at Deer River Campsites since you're here at Diamond Pond; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Malone is a tremendous choice.
