Why not stop by Dial Pond if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Whiteface Mountain is a magnificent location to do that; there's pleasant hiking along the Leach Trail. Dial Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a pleasant local campground, and a lovely lake like Chapel Pond is a splendid spot to pop by. This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Courtyard

| | Lake Placid is a magnificent location to get some rest, and a perfect site to camp here at Dial Pond is Shearer's Riverside Campsite. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Dial Pond is a good site of normal rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout August, and February on the other hand is the driest. The Dix Trail offers hiking at its best, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Lake Placid is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. | |

So much cool stuff to do at Dial Pond, so little time. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Adirondack Mountains. What would winter be without some skiing at Gore Mountain, and get yourself
into a kayak and hit Ausable River - East Branch. Get drenched paddling on John's Brook, and you'll discover a striking lake called Giant Washbowl. Summertime highs at Dial Pond frequently tend to be in the 70's. Through the dark
hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Dial Pond plunge into the 0's. Just can't get enough
of Dial Pond. Hunters Pass is a brilliant place to explore close by, and one of the main features of the surroundings of Dial Pond is Bear Den Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Dial Pond without first going for a hike along the Stimson Trail, and do check out Gravestone Brook if you're here at Dial Pond.
