Devils Pond is a rather wet place typically with a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily September, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. West Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand, and camping at Devils Pond is delightful fun, Rustic Barn Campsites is a delightful local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Island View Motel &       Cottages, and on a lovely day you acquire a great view of Bald Mountain from Devils Pond. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Devils Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by Glens Falls. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. While you're here at Devils Pond you can play some golf at Bend of the River Golf Club, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Hudson River. Take a little journey to Dry Brook since you're here at Devils Pond,                  and if you came for an overnight stay River Road Campgrounds is a wonderful place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Hickory Ski Center and strap some skis to your feet, and after a long day outdoors Lake Luzerne Motel is a good site to spend a night or two. If you get bored of Devils Pond, you could also have a look at close by Bullhead Pond, and get covered with water paddling on Sacandaga River. The warmest time of the year at Devils Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
