Devils Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is a great site to get some rest; you'll meet a lot of people from Kingston here. Camping at Devils Lake is tremendous fun, Blue Mt Camp Ground is a tremendous local campground, and if you need a location to stay Sky Top Motel is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. | | water close by, Rondout Creek is a stream you can have a look at while you're here.
At Devils Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Devils Lake tend to be in the 0's. Whitewater paddling is good on Esopus Creek, and Clifton Point is very near and is a nice place to visit.
