Denton Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. At Denton Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Denton Lake. Dutcher Golf Course is a nice golf course nearby, and if you need a site to stay Le Chambord is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Ten Mile River, and you can go for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. From a rain point of view Denton Lake is a reasonably typical place; through May this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here, and what would winter be without some skiing at Thunder Ridge.
