Do stop by Delafield Pond while you're in this part of New York. Delafield Pond usually gets much precipitation; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A lake nearby is Lake Alice, and an afternoon playing golf at The Garrison Golf Club is always a bliss. At Delafield Pond you can catch a glimpse of Bare Rock Mountain, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Popolopen Creek.

Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Highland Falls; you can stay the night at Sebago Cabins Harriman.

lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Stillwell Lake Trail; Delafield Pond is a delightful location to visit for more than one day, Beaver Pond is a delightful location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
Crystal Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and you can hit the slopes at Sterling Forest in the neighborhood. Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do near Delafield Pond.
Go for a hike on the Appalachian National
Scenic Trail, and since you're here, you could stop at Arden Brook. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. After a long day outdoors The Thayer Hotel is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time of year, Moodna Creek offers some delightful whitewater.
