Just getting warmed up. Have a good hiking adventure along the Ash Pond Trail, and since you're here, you could check out Burntbridge Outlet. Deer Pond is a good place of typical precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Town Line Pond is a perfect lake in the neighborhood of Deer Pond, and in case       you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Raquette River. During the warm months at Deer Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Deer Pond. Deer Pond is a spot with many visitors from Malone, and the summit of Burnt Rock can be seen from Deer Pond. Now, you may think that's a heap                  but there's even more cool things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. While you're here at Deer Pond you can take a hike along the Big Deer Pond Trail; why not camp at Blue Jay Campsites while you're here at Deer Pond. And if that's not enough there's heaps more amusing stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Going for a hike along the Sixmile Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Bog River. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm spots, why not take a look at Boottree Pond near Deer Pond.
