It's always fun to stop by Deer Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Jay Campsites is a magnificent campground nearby, and Douglas Rock is an exciting location to pop by while at Deer Pond. On a pleasant day at Deer Pond you can take a hike along the Sixmile Creek Trail, and Raquette River is a great whitewater spot nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. For the duration of the months of summer here at Deer Pond,

an overnight stay Robinson's Iga is a delightful site to camp. The yearly rainfall here at Deer Pond is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bog River, and the Big Deer Pond Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby.
