After a long day outdoors Syracuse-Days Inn Canastota is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Fox Run Family Campground. There's whitewater on Mad River for all you thrill seekers, and there's some flowing water close by, Mill Stream is a stream you can have a look at while here. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Up Country Family Campground is always a tremendous experience, as expected       you could also pop by Stone Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. You can run the rapids of Salmon River in the vicinity of Deer Pond, and if you've had enough of Deer Pond, Castor Pond is nearby. Throughout the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Deer Pond. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's,                  and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Deer Pond temperatures drop to the 0's.
