So many entertaining things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too glorious to be true. Deer Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Moose River Camp Grounds is a brilliant local campground; Brantingham Inn Motel is a brilliant spot to get some rest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Woods Valley is a magnificent local ski area, and close by you come       across the Stone Dam Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Deer Pond is a good spot of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the summertime months at Deer Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Deer Pond are in the 0's. Yeah, come here to                  Deer Pond for a wonderful time. After a long day outdoors Crest Motel is a splendid site to spend a night or two; get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Moose River. Go for a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail; a good site for whitewater paddling is Woodhull Creek. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Utica-Rome here. Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Everybody nearby loves skiing at McCauley Mountain. There's so much to do here at Deer Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Kayuta Lake Campground is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful.
