This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Northville Lake Placid Trail, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Minnow Pond. You simply have to go for the Adirondack Mountains. There's so much to do here at Deer Pond that you need       to camp here for a while, Long Lake Camp is a good place for that; Buck Mountain is a peak you can see from Deer Pond. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Deer Pond is so good! Round Lake Outlet is a great whitewater spot close to Deer Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Woodlake Inn. If you came to camp Whispering woods is a tremendous place to do that, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Sucker Brook Trail. In case you                  don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Raquette River, and do stop at Middle Cat Pond, it's a pretty lake. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Deer Pond get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's; overnight lows all through the winter for Deer Pond tend to be in the 0's.
