Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff next to Deer Pond. Deer Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Whispering woods is a great local campground, and Park Motel is a perfect site to get some rest. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. For the duration of the summertime months at Deer Pond temperatures are usually in the 70's. Summer night       lows fall down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows at Deer Pond during the winter usually sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of St. Regis River - Middle Branch in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Deer Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Blue Jay Campsites is a delightful spot for that. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Swamps don’t sound that splendid                  but Deer Pond Marsh in the neighborhood of Deer Pond is pretty splendid; you're in all probability keen on lakes, Black Pond is one of those nearby. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a glorious time. At Deer Pond you always meet someone from Malone, and you can hit the slopes at Mount Pisgah in close proximity. If you need a location to stay Point is a great choice; get yourself into a kayak and hit Round Lake Outlet.
