Deer Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. High temperatures at Deer Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Deer Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Deer Lake; Party Trail is a splendid local trail;

| | get yourself into a kayak and hit West Canada Creek.
The peak of Mosquito Hill can be seen from Deer Lake, and Richards Vly is a swamp next to Deer Lake. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more cool things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. The Twin Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you need a place to stay HMS Host is a brilliant choice. Having a fine time at Deer Lake is easy. Stay the night at Adirondack Gateway Campground, and Mounts Creek Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. This lake is
so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Deer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ace Of Diamonds Mine is a wonderful place for that, and Best Western Little Falls Motor Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest. This
lake is so wonderful. A pleasant spree to New Holland Clearing is a delightful way to spend an afternoon, and soar down the rapids of West Canada Creek - South Branch in a kayak.
And if that's not enough there's heaps more enjoyable
things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. There's perfect hiking along the California Trail, and swing by Hurrell Brook it's a great location to go to.
