This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Through the days of summer at Deer Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Deer Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Deer Lake is not the only spot close by, Mounts Creek Lake is a close       by lake, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Twin Lakes Trail. A good deal of precipitation falls at Deer Lake; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Whitewater paddling is great on West Canada Creek, and everyone loves New Holland Clearing. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. All year is a delightful time in the Adirondack Mountains if you love the outdoors. The peak of Mosquito Hill can be observed from Deer Lake, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the California Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
