Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Don't leave Deer Lake without first going for a hike along the Twin Lakes Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Caswell Lake. During the summertime at Deer Lake highs are commonly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Deer Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout
winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. The Party Trail offers hiking at its best, and as expected, this is a good vicinity for people who like lakes, Jones Lake is a lake nearby.
If you came for an overnight stay Browns Tract Pond State Campground is a splendid location to camp, and there's nice hiking along the California Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Deer Lake a pretty wet site; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's

the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
Be careful coming to Deer Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. If you need a spot to stay Knights Inn Little Falls is a glorious choice, and swamps like Carter Mudhole in close proximity to Deer Lake make for great sites to take a look at. Swanson Dam is not far at all from Deer Lake. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Soar down the rapids of West Canada Creek - South Branch in a kayak, and OLD Forge Camping Resort is a great campground nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by McCauley Mountain, and get soaked paddling on Indian River. Some nearby water includes Cobblestone Creek, and the vista of Jones Mountain is beautiful.
