    The beauty of Deep Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Woods Valley, and hey, Stone Dam Creek is a splendid local stream. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Deep Lake. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Deep Lake has to offer, you can camp at Trails  
   End.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Deep Lake. There's glorious hiking along the Party Trail, and if you've had enough of Deep Lake, Mink Lake is close by. The high level of precipitation makes Deep Lake a rather wet location; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. Deep Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
Go for a hike on the Stone
 
               Dam Trail. There's so much to do here at Deep Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kayuta Lake Campground is a nice spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Stone Dam Lake while you're here at Deep Lake; it's nearby, and skiing at McCauley Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Whitewater paddling is good on Little Black Creek, and don't leave Deep Lake without first going for a hike along the Forty Mountain Trail.
Throughout the summertime months at Deep Lake highs are typically in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 20's; nighttime lows at Deep Lake during the winter ordinarily fall into the 0's. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is abundant here in the Adirondack Mountains.
