This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Deep Lake is a relatively wet place regularly with a good deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So many entertaining things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Moose River - South Branch is a pleasant whitewater spot in the neighborhood       of Deep Lake; there are perfect locations to explore along the Sucker Brook Trail. Brooktrout Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and Browns Tract Pond State Campground is a great local campground. Summer at Deep Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Deep Lake. If you want a great time in the great                  outdoors, just come on down to Deep Lake. Very striking scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at McCauley Mountain, and Deep Lake is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Tioga Point State Campground is a pleasant spot to camp nearby.
