    A visit to Deep Lake is always a good idea. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Moose River - South Branch, and Helldiver Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Deep Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight  
   here at Deep Lake. Having a fine time at Deep Lake is easy.
Deep Lake is a rather wet place frequently with a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls through August while February is frequently the driest month. Deep Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is abundant here in the Adirondack Mountains. Why not camp at Browns Tract Pond State Campground if you're here at Deep Lake, and there are some brilliant
 
               whitewater spots on Indian River.
This lake is so wonderful. Tioga Point State Campground is a great local campground, and magnificent hiking is available along the Sucker Brook Trail. While you're here at Deep Lake, you could also take a look at charming Brooktrout Lake, and why not head up to McCauley Mountain and strap some skis to your feet.
