Dead Sea is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Dead Sea is a location with many visitors from Plattsburgh, and Riverside Campsite is a great local campground. If you need a place to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Plattsburgh is a tremendous choice; if you came for an overnight stay Feinberg Park is a pleasant place to camp. A nice nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Plattsburgh; whitewater paddling is good on Great Chazy River. An average amount

| | of rain falls at Dead Sea; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do in the vicinity of Dead Sea. A pleasant spree to he Basin is a great way to spend an afternoon, and the panorama of beautiful Big Hill is splendid. Throughout the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Dead Sea, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Dead Sea. | |
