of outdoors cool stuff the area right next door to DeWitt Lake has to offer. If you're here at DeWitt Lake, you could check out Wallkill River, and there's whitewater on Rondout Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. Going for
a hike on the Kanape Jeep Trail is always a wonderful adventure; you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Kingston here. DeWitt Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest
month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Phoenicia Trail, and there are other sites here than DeWitt Lake, for example Binnewater Lakes. Through the warm months here at DeWitt Lake, high temperatures
mostly reach the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while DeWitt Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's.
