If you came to camp Ulster County Four-h Camp is a great location to do that, and Wiltwyck Country Club is a great golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Kingston come to DeWitt Lake; going for a hike along the Willow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Lakes? Sure, First Lake is in the vicinity, and you can run the rapids of Saw Kill River.

Man, is there heaps of enjoyable things to do in the neighborhood of DeWitt Lake. Very scenic scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Hunter Mountain. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Not far from DeWitt Lake, you'll
come across Binnewater Lakes which is a lovely lake. There's so much to do here at DeWitt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hidden Valley Lake is a delightful location for that. Wallkill Valley is near DeWitt Lake and is
a perfect place, and the view of Fly Mountain is beautiful.
High temperatures at DeWitt Lake through the summertime are in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are commonly
in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to DeWitt Lake. While you're here at DeWitt Lake you can take a hike along the Kanape Jeep Trail, and get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Rondout Creek.
