A great spot to camp here at Lake DeVenoge is Camp Tel Yehuda, and there's whitewater on Mongaup River for all you adrenaline kick people. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Delaware River, and if you get bored of Lake DeVenoge you could also have a look at close by Lake Champion. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Hotel Fauchere, and the Lost Cabin Trail offers hiking at its best.       The amount of rainfall that falls at Lake DeVenoge is close to the national average; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Really good skiing awaits you at Holiday Mountain, and hiking along the Peenpack Trail is great fun. This lake is so wonderful. Sand Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore, and Tanglwood has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff. Summer brings highs in the 70's                  to Lake DeVenoge while night lows are regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Lake DeVenoge night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. Delaware National Scenic River is a great local destination here at Lake DeVenoge, and Lake DeVenoge is right by the Schiff Trail.
