Why not go to close by East Branch Hackensack River if you're here at DeForest Lake, and this is a popular place for people from New York-Newark-Edison. the Breakneck Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. High temperatures at DeForest Lake during the warm months are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are
usually in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at DeForest Lake plunge into the 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes DeForest Lake a wet site; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
