Why not go to close by East Branch Tenmile River while you're here at Davis Pond; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lackawaxen River. Do explore Freys Pond right next door to Davis Pond, it's a charming lake, and Delaware River is a great whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Davis Pond. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Davis Pond. While you're here at Davis Pond you can take a hike along the Schiff Trail; if you like swamps you're in luck, Bear Swamp is right nearby.

rather wet place commonly with much rain; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Washington Lake Retreat,
and camping at Woodstock On The Lake Campgrounds is always a tremendous experience.
If you need a place to stay Roebling Inn On the Delaware is a pleasant choice, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Crawford Trail.
