Davis Pond is always a pleasure to visit. All year is a brilliant time in the Adirondack Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Lakes are such calm places, why not pop by Alder Pond next to Davis Pond, and Super 8 Motel - Utica is a nice location to get some rest. There is a fine hiking trail near Davis Pond called the Party Trail, and there's whitewater on Black River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things

| | in the Adirondack Mountains. You can run the rapids of Little Woodhull Creek near Davis Pond, and camping is available at Kayuta Lake Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Woods Valley, and after a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Utica is a great spot to spend a night or two. During the summertime, highs typically are in the 70's at Davis Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime | |

brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Davis Pond. So much entertaining stuff to do at Davis Pond, so little time. If you came for an overnight stay Trail's End Campground is a great spot to camp,
and since you're here you can play some golf at Alder Creek Golf Course & Country Inn.
Davis Pond frequently gets a large amount of rain; most of the rain falls through September, and February on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Davis Pond, you can go for a hike along the Stone Dam Trail, and hey, Alder Creek is a good local stream.
On a nice day at Davis Pond you can take a hike along the Forty
Mountain Trail; you'll in all probability meet some folks from Utica-Rome here. Davis Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
