Go to Davis Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Davis Lake is a wet site that gets much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. At Davis Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. A great site to camp here at Davis Lake is Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Sheldrake Stream. This lake is so wonderful. There are
other sites here than Davis Lake, for example Bowers Pond, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Lost Cabin Trail. Just can't get enough of Davis Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Neversink River It's always wonderful to go to Katrina Falls.
