lake is so wonderful. Davis Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Macomb Reservation is a pleasant local campground, and don't leave Davis Lake without first going for a hike along the Silver Lake Mountain Trail. Lakes?
Sure, McGinnity Pond is close by; why not head up to Whiteface Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. There are other places here than Davis Lake, for example Mud Pond, and glide down the rapids of Ausable River in a kayak.
