There is a fine hiking trail near Dassori Pond called the Stillwell Lake       Trail, and Dassori Pond is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Sebago Cabins Harriman is a glorious site to camp nearby. You absolutely have to have a thing about Dassori Pond. Going for a hike on the Woodtown Trail is always a fine adventure. Throughout the summertime months at Dassori Pond highs are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the                  sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Dassori Pond fall into the 10's. Much rainfall falls at Dassori Pond; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Beaver Pond is a good campground nearby, and you can hit the slopes at Mt. Peter close at hand. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Sterling Forest; Econo Lodge Highland Falls is a glorious place to get some rest. Near Dassori Pond you find the Appalachian National Scenic Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and needless to say, this is a pleasant area for people who like lakes, Roe Pond is a lake close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Thayer Hotel is a glorious place to spend a night or two; a visit to Arden Point is always a tremendous idea. This lake is so wonderful.
