Lake Alice is a nearby lake that you could visit, and get soaked paddling on Moodna Creek. Playing golf is lots of fun at The Garrison Golf Club; at Dales Pond you can catch a glimpse of Cat Hill. While you're here at Dales Pond you must pop by Foundry Cove; the Woodtown Trail offers hiking at its best. And that's not all you can do here at Dales Pond. It's a great idea to stop at Foundry Brook, it's close to       Dales Pond, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Popolopen Creek. A day on the slopes of Sterling Forest is just what you need, and there's perfect hiking along the Stillwell Lake Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in the neighborhood of Dales Pond has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Sebago Cabins Harriman is a tremendous location to camp, and a brilliant close by hotel is Econo Lodge Highland Falls. This                  lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay The Thayer Hotel is a pleasant choice, and don't leave Dales Pond without first going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Beaver Pond while you're here at Dales Pond; a lake nearby is Crystal Lake. Throughout the summertime highs here at Dales Pond get into the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Dales Pond tend to be in the 10's.
