Sterling Forest is a very popular ski area in the vicinity, and camping at Dales Pond is brilliant fun, Beaver Pond is a brilliant local campground. Take a hike on the Stillwell Lake Trail, and hey, Foundry Brook is a splendid local stream. Dales Pond gets a lot of water; during the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. You could also check out Cat Pond while       you're here at Dales Pond; it's close by; golf can be played at The Garrison Golf Club. Dales Pond is right by the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; after a long day outdoors Bird & Bottle Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Moodna Creek in a kayak, and dry warm beds await you at Pig Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Dales Pond is a good site to camp, Sebago Cabins Harriman is a good site,                  and Cat Hill is painless to spot from Dales Pond. Do schedule some time to check out Foundry Cove close to Dales Pond if you have a chance. For the duration of the months of summer at Dales Pond highs are typically in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Dales Pond. So many entertaining things near Dales Pond, absolutely mind-blowing.
