Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Moodna Creek; hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is pleasant fun. This lake is so wonderful. You could also check out Laths Pond if you're here at Dales Pond; it's nearby; you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Stillwell Lake Trail. Dales Pond typically gets a great deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
