Curtis Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Black River; do take a hike on the California Trail. Curtis Lake frequently gets a lot of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.
